How to add multi buy discounts?
Due to medical reasons I gave up my shop last year . Just started a new one now things seem to have changed. How do I se up multi buy so I can give my customers a discount if they buy more than 1 item. I keep going via Marketing then discounts and nothing...just shows I have no discounts? Its driving me nuts Many thanks for any help

Mentor5 days agoYou're trading on a private account (that type is for sellers just getting rid of their own personal items such as clothes from their wardrobe, bits from their loft etc) when you need a business account in order to use the features that a business seller would use (a business seller is one who makes items to sell or buys in items to re-sell).
eBay will be providing HMRC with your details anyway and you can obviously offset more expenses as a business seller, but can't offset any at all as a private one.
To correctly register as a business seller simply go to your Personal Information in your account and to the right of Account Type, which will be showing as 'Individual' you'll see an Edit option.
This doesn't affect your feedback profile or any current listings, it merely upgrades your account so that you're compliant with current consumer and eBay policy.
If you're also selling your own items, just open another eBay account (you can have more than one).
