How kind should I wait for a pending payment ?

Hi,

I have sold an item by reducing the price - one if the watchers made an offer which I have accepted . It now just says payment pending - but it has said this for several days. I have no way of contacting the person who made the offer to see if they are proceeding .
what should I do ?

The buyer has 4 complete days to pay.

Although you have accepted an offer, the item remains for sale and you are free to accept a higher offer, or sell for the asking price, if the other buyer doesn't pay promptly.

Obviously there's an issue with the payment so you can cancel the transaction if you prefer - if it's gone through See if it will allow a cancellation due to non-payment. If not use "something wrong with buyer's address", the nearest other option we have.
