How does the QR code work
Can someone tell me in SIMPLE steps how the QR system works? Everything I sell I send using Royal Mail. So I just print off a delivery label stick it on my parcel and take to a Post Office. Easy.
I am not tech savvy by the way. The buyer of my latest sale wants me to send to a shop or locker. Ebay have sent me a QR code. What do I do now? Does scan the code mean take a photo of it? Then what?......

Mentor4 months agoYou use the QR code on your phone to scan at the Inpost locker screen to open a compartment to leave the parcel in.
Here's more info:

If you prefer not to use this in future you can opt out of Yodel/Inpost on here:

OP4 months agoDo I take an image of the QR code on my phone? Can I take the item to a Post Office? What goes on the parcel as there will be no address. What am I missing here?
I haven't got a smart phone.

Some post offices have Inpost lockers but you need to find your nearest locker in the first link I gave you. Click on the "Find Your Locker" link. It's number 2 option.
The locker compartment you put the parcel in is designated just for your parcel and the label will be attached when they come to collect it.
