How does buyer reimburse seller after refund for late delivery

Item purchased July 9thItem sent July 10thNo delivery updates from Evri, item appeared to be lostBuyer refunded July 23rdItem arrived August 15th.Buyer querying how to reimburse me, but there is nothing obvious on ordereBay chatbot useless with advice.what should i do?

To do this eBay wont be involved per se. The only way to do it is via paypal or a BACS transfer. You need to send them your details, in the message you send on ebay make it clear its for a refund, the bots can be a bit zealous.

If you used a Simple Delivery label and your buyer opened an item not received claim, then eBay would have issued the refund and allowed you to keep the original payment.

If your buyer is now willing to pay for their item it will have to be outside of eBay, either via PayPal or bank transfer.

If the transaction was finished with eBay with a refund, then nothing else can be done through eBay.

Your buyer will have to repay you either by cheque, PayPal Friends and Family payment or a bank transfer, whichever suits you both best.

If PayPal is used, email addresses need to be exchanged, this can sometimes be found with the order details >> Show Contact Info. If not and you need to ask the seller for this, make it very, very clear in your eBay messages, as eBay do read these, the reason for these exchanges. Make it clear it's not to be used for an off eBay sale.
