HOW DO YOU TALK TO A HUMAN BEING FOR HELP?
Summary: 149drive is experiencing difficulty in receiving payment for an item sold on eBay, as their funds are being held pending verification of bank details. tressygirl suggested checking the verification status of the bank account through eBay's Managed Payments, which involves confirming two micro deposits sent by eBay. They suggested contacting eBay customer services and provided tips on how to connect with a live agent. fargvs noted that new or occasional sellers may experience payment holds for periods between 14 to 30 days as per eBay policy.
So over two weeks ago i sold an item on ebay, before that i had only used my account to buy. Everything seemed successful, but it asked me to update my bank details to match my account name, which i did. I then got a series of messages saying they could NOT release the money before checking my bank details this was eight days , which came and went, then another eight days which have come and gone. The money registers as being in my ebay account but ebay will not release the money to my bank account..Can anyone help i am pulling my hair out as i owe money to someone else.

Mentor1 month agoEbay will not automatically release moneyto bank. zFirst it has to be released which may take some time, and only then can you withdraw it.
It would have been a good idea to sort out bank details, before selling.

Mentor1 month agoThere may be something missing with your initial registration for eBay's Managed Payments. Has the bank account been verified? The usual method is for 2 micro deposits to be sent to your bank account for you to confirm back to eBay. Has this happened?
If not you do need to contact CS for them to send you those deposits, or to tell you if there is anything else they require from you, to verify your account.
Contacting eBay Customer Services is not easy nowadays to get a live agent , but some have had success using the app, otherwise keep typing in ' I wish to speak to an agent' and this too can work.
Use this link to contact CS, if you can try at 8 a.m. on a weekday morning also more chance there for Dublin to answer.
