How do we get to speak to a person - I have a problem that is not covered in the Bot menu?
I love Ebay but the cycle of repeated menu's is driving me mad.
I ordered something via my son and the order has disappeared off his orders list so I can't discuss the lost £120 with anyone in a timely manner and there is no phone number and the assistant keeps brushing me off.
Has anyone else been through this?

Mentor5 months agoIf this was purchased on your son's account it's up to him to sort out his orders list or purchase history with eBay.
One common reason why orders "disappear" is that they were ordered as a guest. If this is what you or your son did it won't be on either of your purchase histories. And eBay won't speak to you anyway about your son's account.
Orders don't just disappear except rarely when eBay removes a listing because the item is prohibited or there are serious concerns about the seller's account. But in this case your son should have been notified of this by eBay. In any case, it's up to your son to sort it out. Next time perhaps it woud be better to use your own own account.

Mentor5 months agoWhen items go from your purchases list it can mean the seller's account has been suspended by ebay. If so you won't be able to open a case on ebay but should contact your payment provider and ask about a refund or chargeback.
If the item was never on your list it might have been bought while logged out or before the account was fully set up. Then you would be classed as a guest buyer. If so here is how you check:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/buying/returns-refunds/returning-item/returning-items-bought-guest?id=4065&st=12&pos=2&query=Get%20help%20if%20you%20bought%20as%20a%20guest&intent=buying%20as%20a%20guest&context=DEFAULT_BUYER
If you still have problems you can contact ebay direct using callback on here:
