How do I report seller?

Hi, I got some weed killer off a seller but it was useless and they did not reply to enquiries about it and as I had used it all I could not return it so I left negative feedback but seller then offered a refund if I would change feedback so I did but they never made any refund and are not answering messages.

I read that there should be a 'report seller' link on their profile or listing page but I cannot find one and ebay help is useless, just endless links to dumb robots etc..

Really you have nothing to report, you voluntarily agreed to change feedback which is never wise as promises are unenforceable. Never change feedback unless you are satisfied and promised refund has been made.

Shame on you. The negative feedback you left would have provided a warning for other buyers about your bad buying experience. That's what negative feedback is for. But you were willing to remove it on the promise of a refund.

Now you have learned that sellers who do this usually forget about any promises once the feedback has been changed.

eBay provides a strong money back guarantee for buyers when an item received does not match the description. In future, do please use it. Not only would you have received a refund if eBay supported your case, but eBay would have acted against this seller for making a refund conditional on you changing your feedback. This is not allowed.

Reporting the seller is unlikely to do anything, but the promise of a refund if feedback is changed is the oldest trick in the book, it rarely happens eg the refund.

If you on desktop there will be a question mark lower right of the screen, click this and then select what you are looking for. If on app there should be three dots top right on your phone click that same result if you will.
