How do I mark an item as dispatched
Hi, ive sold an item, shipped it but e bay say im late posting it even though its been sent and the tracking no given to the buyer

Mentor2 weeks agoIf you didn't use the Simple Deilvery label if you click on Get label > Print label for it that will mark the item as dispatched. It iwll remain unused and cost of label will be refunded to buyer in 30 days. That's all you can do. Payment may be held for 14 days.

Mentor2 weeks agoDid you use your own postage? Then, you cannot mark it as dispatched with that postage.
If it says late posting now too late to amend the position now, but using your own postage trigger the Simple Delivery label this will mark items as dispatched, then a refund is made to whoever paid for the label.
If you selected 'Buyer pays’ when you created the listing, your buyer will automatically be refunded for any Simple Delivery label that isn’t used after 30 days
If you selected ‘Seller pays’ and offered free postage on your listing, you'll need to fill out the Request a refund for Simple Delivery form for the label that wasn’t used. Make sure to send your request within 14 days of your item selling.
Easier still to use Simple Delivery then the issue disappears.
