How do I find an old unpaid charity donation

Question

I was listing a newitem and decided to donate to charity. I received a screen message saying that I couldn’t donate because I had an historic charity debt on eBay. I never owe money so I have spent the rest of today trying to find this mysterious debt but no luck. Anyone help?

Access to your account is required and for this you need to contact Customer Services.

It's not easy to get hold of Customer Services, you need to go top left of your eBay page to Help & Contact, and keep typing in... ' I wish to speak to an agent' you may eventually get through.
