How do I complain about a seller

Question

The seller did not explain that the electrical appliance needed an adapter and the adapter sent did not work. I am not happy to use a two pin appliance with a metal canister as I think it needs an earth

Start a return (there's a button you can use on this eBay guidance page), select "item is defective' as the reason:

Thank you for that. Now I need to ask how to open a not as described case please.

IF you received the item within the last 30 days open a not as described case as the plug will not fit the UK system.

Seller will have to issue a label, you return the item for a full refund. Do not close the case for any excuses from the seller, particularly if they are overseas.
