How do I change a tracking number once generated?

eBay generated a tracking number for me based on what it thought was the size of my parcel to send.
The size was wrong so I manually booked it to send and be collected by Parcel force.
How can I update the tracking number in ebay to the active one I paid for via Parcel force?
Obviously the old one that eBay generated is void as I cannot send this item using the size it guessed it would be.
I've done this before last year but cannot remember at all how to do it.
Please help. Thanks.

Mentor4 months agoThe option to upload a different tracking number is no longer available. You can message your buyer with the tracking details and if necessary you would be able to add the new number to an "Item not received" case if one was opened. Payment may be held for 14 days.

Will money be received once the buyer confirms delivery or if feedback is left? Obviously the original tracking number won't show anything in regards to it's journey or delivery.
Using eBay is becoming worse and more difficult as time goes on. Starting to get really sick of their restrictions now.
