How Do I add a new tracking number to an existing sold listing
Hello, Everyone, a customer of mine wants an item shipped with Royal Mail special delivery, but the shipping preferences on the sold listing are eBay's Simple Delivery. How do I add a new shipping label outside of eBay's Simple Delivery.

Mentor2 weeks ago · EditedYou can't, in a nutshell. If you don't use the Simple Delivery label its not possible to upload the tracking number. You could let your buyer know it via eBay messages if you want, and if an item not received claim is opened you can add that tracking number to it.
To mark the order as dispatched, if you use the 'get label' option on the order it will then show as dispatched and your buyer will be refunded for the label cost within 30 days.

Mentor2 weeks agoOnly via the route I outlined.
The Simple Delivery label covers you for loss or damage up to £750, so its a good service. If your buyer claims that the item has arrived damaged with your RM Special Delivery its you who have to refund the buyer and then claim from RM. In the same scenario with a Simple Delivery label eBay would refund the seller and you keep the original payment. All very painless too.
