How can I speak to an eBay agent ASAP?
I'm finding it impossible to get in touch with an agent. I have an issue with a return, caused by a seller, that needs to be explained to a real person.
Thanks in advance for your help.

OP1 week agoThanks for the replies. My issue is that I received a damaged item and i've to return it for a full refund. However, the initial returns label the seller provided relied on me posting the damaged item in a box or it wouldn't be accepted. The reason the item was damaged in the first place is it not arrive in a box! I don't have a box that'll fit the item in, only weatherproof postage bags/parcel slips. Ebay instructed the seller to provide me with a new returns label that meant Royal Mail would pick up the parcel from my address and they would bring a label with them. What the seller actually then provided was an EVRI 'print at home' label. I tried dropping it off at an EVRI store earlier but they told me they could only accept it with a proper QR code that generates a postage label. I'm pretty sure the seller knows what they're doing here and they're trying to get me to 'give in in my attempt for a full refund. This is over 2 weeks after I received the damaged item but have had tens of messages between myself and seller. They're trying to play dumb and their customer service is appalling.

OP1 week agoYes.
eBay ruled the case in my favour and instructed the seller to provide me with a returns label. I've to enter tracking info into the Case details once i've posted it, then when it's shown in the tracking that the item has been delivered, eBay will refund me.
However, the label the seller has now TWICE provided me with incorrect returns labels.
I managed to request a call back in the 'contact us' section after the first time but that option seems to have disappeared.
After eBay got involved and ruled in my favour, they closed the case, meaning it's impossible to flag this up now without speaking to an agent.
I've now managed to send an email to them explaining the situation. It says they'll get back to me within 48 hours, so just waiting for that response now.

Mentor1 week agoOK --- eBay don't usually reply to emails --- try this >
Customer Service can be 'iffy' ATM but persist in requesting an Agent Callback using the large blue Contact Us button at bottom of the page.

Mentor1 week agoI doubt there can be any problem with a return that is not zlready covered by existing procedures. Just explain on here, you will get better advice than from an Agent.

Mentor1 week agoIt's not easy to get hold of Customer Services, you need to go top left of your eBay page to Help & Contact, and keep typing in... ' I wish to speak to an agent' you may eventually get through.
Or better still, come back here, explain your issue, and the many experienced members here are happy to help.
It's quicker and may I say you may well get better results asking here!
