How can I contact live customer service..have been trying for over 20minutes to get number or request a call back?
Summary: talkingmurphy53 is seeking advice on how to contact eBay customer service after receiving a damaged item and facing difficulties with the refund process. They have attempted to reach eBay multiple times but struggled to find the right contact method. tommystrezures, *vyolla*, and john1297576 suggest that contacting eBay is not necessary. Instead, they recommend opening a 'not as described' case or a return request through eBay's online system for a refund.
Please advice
Me on how to access a human customer services. I purchased an item which arrived well packed but on inspecting the hamper basket there was a broken strut that obviously could only have done at supply end,( s it was a clean cut at the top of strut). I contacted seller who told me to contact customer protection I paid for at purchase.
I started attempting to get the correct form to fill to complete my request for refund. I gave up after 29 frustrating minutes going round in cuticles. I have again attempted to make contact with eBay but now another frustrating 20 (approx) I could only find a request for refund that I filled in with photos attached.
I cannot use this item for an intended gift due to damage. Please can someone tell me the secret of how to talk to an eBay customer service when it opens at 08:00am.
Thank you….

Mentor1 month agoOpen a not as described case, you do not need to speak to ebay to do this.

Mentor1 month agoYou don't need to contact eBay, simple open a return. Select 'doesn't match description or photos' and submit it.

Mentor1 month agoYou don't need to talk to ebay you need to read this link:
https://pages.ebay.co.uk/ebay-money-back-guarantee/
Then you need to open an item arrived damaged/not as described case, to get the refund issue resolved.
