Hi - I live in the UK and ordered a second hand book from America (described in good condition) to arrive by 24th December. It failed to turn up in time and so useless for Christmas and instead it arrived on the 29th. I thought I’d keep it for next year but when it arrived smashed and grazed I requested a refund. As the supplier is a third party, they have only refunded me the value of the book £3.66I paid £14.29 including postage.I have messaged them and they state as a third party - they are unable to see what I paid and I need to take it up directly with EBay. This is despite me screenshotting my payment record and sending it to them. I cannot get hold of eBay - so difficult to find contact phone details! Does anyone have any experience of this and if so - is it fair that I have to cover the postage of the damaged book? If not, who should foot the bill please?
