Hi, I bought an item that wasnt dispatched on time. I got a dm from seller apologising for delay and posted it. I cancelled my open request for ebay help. Now, a week later, Evri Tracking states my parcel was danaged beyond repair in their care. Cannot get ebay to help via chat as they say Ive closed the previous request. Despite being posted via ebays simple postage grntee. Ive contacted seller but no reply as yet. Looking for suggested next steps? Tia

This is the only time you can open 2 cases for the same item. No matter you close the item not received case, you should be able to open another now for Return>> Item Damaged in transit. Use a laptop / PC and try Chrome, not sure if it helps but the app is sadly lacking in all options so use that reliable desktop browser for this.
