Help with PPWR

Question

I'm really not understanding this new legislation. I sell stamps to the EU so they are posted in envelopes. I have tried to register on the German Site but it says I need a (GB) Company Registration Number. Sole traders do not have a CRN so I cannot complete the form. I also can't believe that I have to do this for every EU country separately. Am I nmissing something here? I think I just won't be able to sell to the EU anymore because I can't fill in forms to dispose of an envelope!

HAve you utilised the free Lizerno checker that ebay sent a link through for the other day (I think it was earlier this week or late last week) we used that to check, and whilst we will not be paying some 300 euros per country, when we completed for random European countries it it stated we could carry on selling. We buy all or most of packaging supplies via ebay and thus when the question about the envelopes/packaging came up said we bought via this avenue so must be already registered and in summary did nothing.

If you are talking about packaging waste for the German only site, get the number direct from the german website, we used our EORI number and that got us our reference number.
