Help with a return
I am not a professional seller. I made a mistake in an order and I did not package my item correctly and it arrived damaged. Not only did the buyer post a negative review before I got to return it they then asked a refund and it goes over what I was paid after ebay took a fee: I reiceved 78.00 on an 85 listing and shes' asking for 95.00 I feel backed into a corner and I am not comfortable with how I am being treated rn. I am also disabled and I have autism/C-PTSD and I don't know how to handle this appripratiely. I want to be fair to my seller but I do not feel I am being fairly treated rn.

Mentor5 months agoIt sounds as if she is just messaging you and has not opened a case. You need to tell her to open a case using the reason 'arrived damaged' or words to that effect.
As you seem to have used simple delivery ebay will handle the case and will probably issue the refund themselves while you keep the sale proceeds. That's the seller protection you get with simple delivery.
The problem could be the packing, if as you say it was inadequate, then ebay might not cover the refund and you will have to. You will have to refund all the buyer paid you, ebay will refund the postage element as she paid them that.

If they have, what reason did they use for requesting a return?
You will never have to refund more than you actually received and, if you used the Ebay Simple delivery label, Ebay may deal with the buyer.
More information from you will mean better advice.
You haven't got any negative feedback. What do you mean by a negative review?

Has the buyer opened a case/started a return through Ebay?
If they have, you will have at least one email from Ebay.
