help me find a collection code

I am right that its impossible to speck a human being at ebay?
Anyway i need help in finding a collection code.
This is what happened.
A old family friend 87 yeas old bought an item from, he didnt pay postage.
I asked the seller if he would post it, when we receive it we would send the collection code.
When it arrive i went into my purchases and clicked that i had collected the item, they is no tab to press to find code in the purchases section .
What i didnt know is that the code is by email to the old family friend.
The family doesnt remember his email address.
How do i find the code for the seller when i cant speak to anyone at ebay?

Mentor3 weeks agoIf the item was listed as collection by buyer the buyer receives the 6 digit code after they've paid via eBay online. Without the code the payment will be released to the seller anyway, usually after 14 days.

Thanks for your reply, so just to clarify, if I dont provide the code number, the seller will automatically be paid in 14 days
