Help in verifying age
Hi does anyone have a contact number for ebay or know how to verify age without using a credit card as I don’t have one

MentorAug 10, 2026 at 7:39 PMIf you are trying to buy a bladed item there is no point in contacting eBay. They only accept a credit card as a method of age verification. To comply with Uk Legislation and law for things such as the Weapons Act 2019 and also Criminal Justice Act. You have to prove you are 18, and to own a credit card you have to be 18+. Anyone can own a debit card per se.
The only option is get a friend or family member to purchase for you.
