Hello Purchased an Item, The item Cancellation was Cancelled. No response?
Hi everyone,
I brought an Item, Item number: 388942584815 Order date:06 Feb, 2026, I requested to Cancel the order.
I also messaged the seller to say, Sorry for the inconvenience but I have ordered the purchase by mistake.
I have had no replies and was also told that the seller had cancelled the cancel the order request. There has been no updates either.
I have had no response still.

Mentor6 months agoeBay doesn't allow buyers to cancel purchases. They can only ask the seller, but the seller doesn't have to agree.
This was just a private seller selling a used game. They're not a business and don't have to accept returns. The advert does states clearly that they don't and you accepted this when you bought it.
You might be lucky, but otherwise if they won't accept it back why not think about reselling it on eBy yourself?

Mentor6 months agoIf they don't send the item or issue a refund you'll have to wait until the last estimated delivery date on the listing has passed then select "Report an item you didn't receive" on here:

and escalate it 3 complete working days later.
If they do send it and they are business sellers they have to accept a "change of mind" return but you would have to pay the return postage. If they're private sellers they may still accept a return but don't have to. You could resell the item yourself.
