Haven’t received collection code

Question

I got a message on my account to tell me my items had been delivered to the collection point, but I haven’t received an e mail with the collection code. I put in an ‘I haven’t received my items” request and the seller says e bay should deal with this, but I have had a response from eBay saying they will not step in for another 4 days.Never had this problem before. And it does not seem to be covered on the help page. Can anyone suggest what to do please?

Thanks for your prompt response. This has taken quite a bit of sorting out. Two phone calls to eBay answered by AI which didn’t seem to understand the problem and cut me off twice, so I tried virtual assistant and at the 2nd attempt was phoned back by a real person who couldn’t sort it and escalated it to a specialist. Noooo, you should not have opened that case, as you have ' received' the item that is the seller has delivered it to your collection point, it's the code that's missing not the item!

Look through your order details, your eBay messages , emails even Spam for that code. If you have only just been notified it's in store, the code may arrive a little later today. Just remember you have 7 days now to pick up your item.

If the code doesn't appear anywhere soon, contact Customer Services, they will give you that important code.

Once you have your item close that case asap, the seller may well do so in the meantime just entering a tracking number to show the item was delivered to your requested pick up point.
