Have you ever purchased something that looked completely different in the photos? How did you handle the situation, and what did you learn from it? Whether it's clothing, gadgets, or home goods, share your stories and any tips you might have for avoiding this in the future!

You open an eBay return and select the reason 'Doesn't match description or photos'.

Mentor1 week agoeBay is not like buying from the shops. If you read the user agreement you will see that eBay doesn't guarantee that sellers' descriptions will be truthful or that items will be safe, legal - or even exist. So there's no point in being shocked if what you receive doesn't match the description. eBay is a jungle.
Fortunately eBay does offer its own, 30 day money back guarantee - and also requires sellers to send a prepaid return label if they want misdescribed items back.
There is a link to the money back guarantee in every listing. All you have to do is to open a case within the time limit - 30 days from the date of delivery.

Is that is what happened to you? Try and answer in your own words it really does help when trying to give the correct advice and help you.
