HAVE I BEEN SCAMMED BY A SELLER?

I BOUGHT A COPY OF ELEANOR, QUEEN OF ENGLAND FROM A SELLER BUT WHAT I AM SAID TO HAVE RECEIVED IS A DOWNLOAD OF THE BOOK. NOWHERE IN THE ADVERT DID IT SAY IT WAS NOT A PHYSICAL COPY OF THE BOOK. NOW I FIND I CANNOT CONTACT EBAY ABOUT THIS. I HAVE RECEIVED NO SUCH DOWNLOAD BUT IT DID NOT SAY YOU WOULD RECEIVED A DOWNLOAD INSTEAD OF A BOOK. THIS IS CLEARLY A SCAM BUT I CANNOT GET PAST THE AI THING BECAUSE IT IS ASKING FOR THE DOWNLOAD IN THEIR COMPLAINT, BUT AS I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY DOWNLOAD HOW CAN I GIVE THEM A DOWNLOAD?? I AM SO ANGRY THAT I AM ABOUT TO PULL MY EBAY ACCOUNT AT ANY MINUTE NOW, I HARDLY USE IT ANY MORE ANYWAY. NOT BEING ABLE TO ACTUALLY GET IN TOUCH WITH EBAY WITH SOMETHING WHICH IS OBVIOUSLY WRONG BUT WHICH IS NOT RIGHT WITH THE CUSTOMER.

Mentor1 month agoYou do not need to get in touch with ebay, seller has delivered nothing so you open a not received case to get a full refund. Only tracked delivery is good enough to prove delivery.

Mentor1 month agoAssuming there was a postage method on the listing you can use the money back guarantee and make a claim for item not received.

Mentor1 month agoYou need to contact Customer Services and preferably speak to a human , explain there is nothing to send back as it's not a physical item being sold, and misdescribed in the listing.
Contacting eBay Customer Services is not easy nowadays to get a live agent , but some have had success using the app, otherwise keep typing in ' I wish to speak to an agent' and this too can work.
