Has relisting changed?

Up until recently when I listed an item it would be relisted about 8 times before I had to relist it myself and then the cycle would start again. For a month or so now every item that I have posted needs me to relist it after the 7 day auction is over without Ebay auto relisting for an extended period.
Can somebody tell me if Ebay has changed its procedures to what I am experiencing now or have I turned this feature off (or not activated it).
I hope it's the latter as currently it is a massive pain in the rear end having to relist everything every week.

Relisting only takes seconds, and you do not have to relist instantly.

OP3 weeks agoYes, you may be correct, time flies and I may have been putting up with it for longer than I thought. At least it's not something I've done which is always my first assumption.
Is there any way of switching it back on, do you know or is this just another cost saving measure disguised as "an improvement" that we have to put up with.

Mentor3 weeks agoYou're not a new seller, so can't switch it back on. It's not a cost saving measure, more to stop the same old unsold items being relisted time after time without it being bought to the sellers attention to give them the chance to refresh the listing with different pics/title/add to description etc.

OP3 weeks agook, thanks for the clarification although I disagree with the underlying premise. Once every 8 weeks is more than adequate opportunity to amend a listing in my view.

Mentor3 weeks agoAuto relisting doesn't give the seller a chance to revise though. If a listing doesn't auto relist thats when a seller can consider the visuals and content.
