Has ebay has finally gone pear shaped?
It's always been edgy.
The sale items have always been dodgy.
Now I'm completely convinced.
The faulty return was supposed to be free.
I awaited the postage label with glee.
Ebay said it was done.
The seller had disappeared into the sun.
Now I'll never use ebay again.
Bye ebay! Once shafted, never forgotten.

Mentor3 weeks agoTrying to work out what the actual issue is here - you opened an eBay return within 30 days of receiving your order and eBay said that you'd been issued with a returns label but you haven't and now your seller is showing as 'No longer a regsisered user' on their feedback profile?

OP3 weeks agoMore or less. Actually the seller is saying that I have to buy stamps to return a faulty item.
The ebay system doesn't give an escalate option.
The options I have are "cancel return" or "mark as sent". Nothing else.
It has now been seven days since e-bay said I would have a postage label yesterday.
There are a plethora of links; they either go to AI, incorrect help or just a message "something went wrong".
It's actually worse than them disappearing into the sun. They're gonna sell that crap to some other poor victim too.
It's over for me with ebay. It's like it has finally succumbed to the mind virus.

Mentor3 weeks agoHas the return case been escalated to ask eBay to step in already?
If so, and they say that a label has been issued check messages and your email. If there's nothing there then contact them and tell them.
