Has eBay changed postage? Dynamic postage price based on bid amount?
I just bid on an item. Thankfully i lost the bid.
Each time i was bidding, the postage price went up in line with the amount the bid offer was going for. The final bid ended up doubling the price of the item but the postage cost also doubled?
I have never seen this occur before. Is this new?

The import VAT would go up along with the bid price.

Mentor1 month agoI believe that postage is based on the final price, going up in bands, so if the auction went over a band the postage price would go up.

OP1 month agois this a new thing? I dont think ive come across this before. Why does ebay do that, surely the cost of postage is fixed. The value of the item has no relationship to the size/weight?!
