Gsp
Brought a brand new doll in box off a seller in ‘Uk’ I’m also in the Uk. the parcel arrived within 4 days and I received the wrong item another doll she was selling which was second hand. Seller is trying to say GSP have made a mistake I didn’t send the doll and wants me to change my refund to significantly not the same. Is this normal? Will the seller keep my £80 odd pounds and I will get my refund off eBay. Feel like I got scammed or is this normal? I did say you must of got parcels mixed up. Seller was adamant it’s GSP fault and said changed it from refund. I do not want the other second hand loosely packed doll it’s not even from the franchise that I was buying from. I want to return it and get a refund. Please help?!

Mentor11 months agoYou appear to have opened the correct case and seller should provide a return label, and on return refund in full.
Once opened you cannot change a case, so seller may be trying to get you to close case and attempt to change it which is not possible but would let seller off the hook.
Do not either accept a promise of the correct doll if you close the case.
Now you have a case open if no response/return label within 3 days, then escalate to ebay who will take over and refund, possibly without the need to return the wrong doll, which if required would be at sellers expense.
There is no way to force seller to send the correct doll, but once you have your money back you should leave feedback.

Mentor11 months agoIt sounds like your seller doesn't understand how a return works. You've selected the correct reason for the return, do not close it (if you do you'll no longer be able to return the doll and get a refund).
After 3 business days have passed, if the seller doesn't provide you with a pre-paid returns label there'll be an option to ask eBay to step in. Use that option.

·11 months agoYou should open a return case, if you have not done so already.
You say the seller wants you to 'change' your reason.
Does this mean you have already opened a case?
If you have, what reason did you use?
'Item did not match description' or 'received the wrong item' would be suitable options from the dropdown menu when you start a return.
Obviously, the seller made a mistake but you have not been scammed.
As long as you follow the process - start a return - send back using the tracked label from the seller - ask Ebay to step in if you are not refunded promptly once the seller has the doll back - you will get all of your money back.

OP11 months agoI messaged the seller first and left it 24hours and they never responded.
So I opened a case to return received wrong item. So Yes I have already open a case and I’ve asked for the doll ‘I ordered’ that the seller is still selling on there eBay and to return the doll I received. If I couldn’t have the doll that I wanted then to give me a full refund and let me return the wrong doll.
The seller is saying change the case to item not a described and not asking for the wrong doll back and saying it’s Gsp’s fault.. and that she didn’t send the doll I received. I haven’t ordered off eBay in along time ‘6months’ apart from the doll I wanted and vape juice for my friend. What shall I do?

Mentor11 months agoAre you absolutely sure the doll you received came from the seller you bought the other doll off?

·11 months agoAs advised, wait 3 days. The seller should send you a label.
Send the doll back and get your money back.
I understand you still want the other doll but, if GSP is involved, it must have been sent overseas and may not have even arrived with the other buyer yet.
So, get your refund.
If the seller gets the doll you actually bought back (the other buyer might just refuse to send it and, even if they are agreeable, the seller would have to pay for the postage back to UK and this may all take a while), then you can always buy it from the seller again in a new transaction.
