Got an offer from the seller

I got an email for a coffee machine I just ordered today from Ninja-kitchen. I bought the item for £315 but after few hours I got an email from seller with an offer for £255.99.
It says I have 3 days to accept this offer.

why the seller has sen me this offer when I have already ordered the same coffee machine machine and how to verify if is legit?

Contact the seller via the listing on your purchases list and see if they will issue a partial refund. Or they may be trying to tempt you to buy a second one.
