Glitch

Got a notification saying I get 50 pound coupon when I sell my first item. I sold something (for lower price so I could make a sale before deadline) and never got any update on the coupon. Couldn't see it in the summary section or during checkout. Had my whole cart ready and finally emailed customer service who told me it expired that very day.
How can a coupon expire when I never got it and it was never visible to me. Had a large order to place and was waiting for my incentive but not going through with it now.
Has anyone else experienced this? If anyone from ebay is reading kindly look into this!

Mentor2 weeks agoDid you check the terms and conditions for that coupon? The expiry date would have been shown there. It couldn't expire same day, it could only have expired just before midnight day before. If it expired on that particular day it would still be good until 11.59pm that day.

OP2 weeks agoThe coupon was not visible anywhere- not in the summary section not at the checkout. There was no email / notification that even let me know that I got a coupon. Thats the issue.

Mentor2 weeks agoIf there was nothing in your eBay messages or email then was it just a pop up? It should've given you some information when you clicked on it.

OP2 weeks agoWas a notification I got before the sale. I opened it again after the sale and nothing about the coupon showed up there either. :(

Thank you for your post.
Typically these vouchers are sent out within 2 weeks of the qualifying sale appearing in the My eBay summary or your app's notifications section. We completely understand how disappointing it is to miss out on the discount. The customer support team looked into your account and found the voucher was available for its 7 day window. However since it expired our system does not allow it to re-issued. We apologise for any frustration this has caused.

OP2 weeks agoI understand it was available, but it was still not visible to me. I looked several times everywhere I could have considering I wanted to place an order that I would not now. Anyone new to this doesn't really get to know when it is issued when ebay does not inform nor the code itself reflects anywhere. However, thanks for your reply.
