Thanks, that really helps, another question, how do I list an item but change the delivery settings so I receive the delivery money in the first place, when I send the item myself? Thanks.
Unless the item is exempt from Simple Delivery, it's not possible anymore for Private sellers to opt out of SD.
If you use your own labels for items liable for SD, refunds for unused SD labels are made according to who initially paid for those items:
If you selected 'Buyer pays’ when you created the listing, your buyer will automatically be refunded for any Simple Delivery label that isn’t used after 30 days
If you selected ‘Seller pays’ and offered free postage on your listing, you'll need to fill out the Request a refund for Simple Delivery form for the label that wasn’t used. Make sure to send your request within 14 days of your item selling. Also ensure you add the replacement tracking number of the service used, and it shows delivery.

Mentor1 year agoYou can only do that if your item and category allows you a custom postage option. Otherwise Simple Delivery is mandatory.

Mentor1 year agoIf you paid for the original label (ie. you had free postage - seller pays on your listings) you can cancel it here:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/claims/simple-delivery/refund/seller
You will get a refund as long as the postage you used was tracked and you entered that number onto ebay.
Or if the buyer paid for it it will be automatically refunded to them in 30 days.
