Getting a copy of the advert which listed an item for sale.
In October 2025 I bought a Bosch Cordless Drill which was described a New. It has a 2 year guarantee. The battery has just failed Bosch wont accept it back under warrenty unless I send them a copy of the Invoice.
When I look on the eBay page for the item I am unable to get a copy of the original advertisment, and I cant contact an eBay customer service person. What do I do.

Mentor4 months agoI imagine that Bosch will also want the full serial number, as it's not unknown for branded batteries sold on eBay to be counterfeit. I also hope for your sake that the Bosch will honour your warranty, as some manufacturers' treat warranties for items bought on eBay as invalid.
If they ask you to return it you will need to read and comply with the postal restrictions that apply to lithium iron batteries. I would hope that Bosch will be able to advise you on this.

Mentor4 months agoBosch want a copy of your invoice, not the eBay advert, you can do this by going to the item in your purchases then view order details and either take a screenshot or use the printer friendly option.
The eBay advert will have been removed after 90 days unless it was a multi quantity listing.
