German Postal service returned my parcel

The German postal service returned my parcel, so my buyer thought I had not sent it and I thought the buyer had returned it. I contacted the buyer who said he had not returned the parcel, but their postal service would want to see an invoice on the parcel. So I put an ebay invoice on the front of the parcel but Ebay would not let me use another post label, to which I found out trying to find out why it would not work as is their policy. I contacted the buyer to say I will be sending it by royal mail to him and to contact me to confirm he has received the parcel. So Ebay thinks it has not been delivered, so the buyer's money is held & I cannot get payment. I must say the German buyer is a very sensible guy to deal with. How can this be resolved?

Mentor1 month agoPayment for untracked items is held for 14 days. As a new seller your payments are likely to be held for 30 days anyway, unrelated to the postage issue.
