Genuine item branded as counterfeit

I've had a cd removed as counterfeit upon auto resisting so it seems it was fine for 7 days. The listing was set up using Ebays new tools, and this misquoted the release as Delec CD 038 instead of Delec CD 028, but this was Ebays doing. There are multiple identical listings on Ebay with the correct release number so I can only assume this was what AI detected. I appealed immediately pointing out the error, but my appeal was turned down very quickly as breaking their counterfeit rules, but they dont even explain their reasons. What can I do to reinstate my listing?

OP1 month agoAfter checking out Discogs info I fear they may actually have a point, though it's hard to be sure. Its annoying as I bought the damn thing off Ebay in the first place. I guess you live and learn.

Mentor1 month agoPorcupine Tree, isn't it? Is it a bootleg then? I'd have thought that was the most unlikely act to get bootlegged!

OP1 month agoI understand that their 90s recordings were illegally reproduced in a number of instances. I assume it would be Russian or east European as I agree theyre not the most obvious bootleg candidates. I was totally unprepared and assumed my copy was genuine (it still could be but hard to prove)
