Free postage
So e bay are giving free postage to buyers as a seller how do I know the correct postage has been payed by e mail ie says standard 48 hrs postage royal mail but some of the things sold are heavy and bulky

·4 months agoEbay are not giving free postage to buyers.
If you list your items with 'free delivery' that means you will pay for the postage label, either by buying it from Ebay or direct from the carrier.
The items of clothing you sold yesterday, you have sold at a loss to yourself as you will need to buy postage labels for both items at a cost of over £3.
When you list items, if you choose 'free postage', it will say 'free postage (seller pays)'.
When you list items, especially if they are bulky or heavy, you need to ensure you choose the right size and weight when you fill in the details for your listing.

OP4 months agoSorry to correct you but e bay are giving free postage to buyers as long as the seller puts something up for sale before 15th April and sells it before 30 th April there will be no cost to either the buyer or seller. Your reply gave me a fright 😂 😂 but spoke with e bay and they pute right.Thanks for reply but on this occasion your information wasn't up to date

Mentor4 months agoIt's an eBay promotion for new sellers which we don't get any notification of, that's why the reply from jckl1957 stated the standard terms.
