Free dispatch for buyer?
I have a pair of skis which are 'oversized'. I decided to try selling them with 'free delivery'. On the Parcelforce website cost sending the Skis, if I have a buyer, is about £57. I priced the skis at £50.
When I change postage option from 'Buyer pays' to 'Seller pays' ebay gives a postage cost of just under £14 and I cannot edit the postage cost!
How does 'free delivery' work? Accept that ebay knows better than Parcelforce and that is all I need to pay (£14) to dispatch the skis or do I need to add the postage cost given by ebay, £14, to the price for the skis? Or should I add the '£57' given by Parcelforce to the price for the skis?

·6 months agoIt is up to you to research the postage cost and make sure you collect enough money to pay postage.
Free postage means you will pay and, as you know, it will cost £57,
If you buy and print the Ebay label, the parcel will be refused.
Personally, I would offer th skis as a collection only item so the buyer has to come and pick them up from you.
