FRADULENT ACCOUNT & SELLER
All,
A new eBay account has been created using my details (one I am unable to access as I did not create) and a purchase initiated for an Apple iPad for £430.00.
I did not create this purchase but as my details have been used, I have received an order confirmation and delivery details emails and the item has subsequently been delivered. However, the item delivered is not an Apple iPad it is a screen cover for an iPad.
The transaction (£430.00) has cleared my bank and I have informed the bank that this transaction is fraudulent and it is now under investigation.
I wanted to speak to someone at eBay to inform them that the seller is fraudulent and is offering for sale Apple iPads but is in fact sending iPad covers. However, as I cannot access the account this transactions was made from and the item isn't in the "purchases" for my actual eBay account, I cannot report the seller.
Any suggestions here?
It is apparently impossible to speak to a real person at eBay!
