Fraud!
Summary: fatkha_22 is frustrated about not receiving a refund after returning an item to a seller, despite providing proof of postage and claims that both the item and money are being held by the seller. fatkha_22 intends to escalate the issue through eBay's dispute process due to lack of resolution. red_magpie and john1297576 respond, asking why the case was closed and suggesting that understanding the case type and providing more details may help in finding a resolution.
I am making a formal complaint regarding this transaction.
I have returned the item and provided proof of postage, yet I have received neither the item nor my refund. At this point, the seller appears to have both the item and my money, which is completely unacceptable.
I have fulfilled my obligation by returning the item as instructed. If the parcel has been lost in transit or mishandled, that is not my responsibility once it was handed over to Royal Mail. I will not accept being left out of pocket due to an issue that is beyond my control.
I expect this matter to be resolved immediately with either a full refund or compensation. If this is not resolved promptly, I will escalate the issue further through eBay’s dispute process and any other appropriate channels.
I've returned an item for a refund! The seller has received the item but has failed to issue a refund! eBay has closed the case and I can't get customer services to respond

But the case is closed you say, that is the dispute process.
You need to give more details including dates and if you opened a case of some sort did you escalate it to ebay, or just let it run out of time.

Mentor1 month agoIt's only in your last few words that you mention having opened a case. Why was it closed?
The most common of which is that the buyer opened the wrong sort of case, i.e. for item not received instead of item not as described. But there are other possible reasons, including not opening it within the 30 day time limit or not complying with the conditions correctly.
If you can explain more fully what has happened someone here may be able to help you.
