Forcing Simple delivery.

Are there others like me who object strongly at the way Simple deliverey is being enforced onto non-business sellers. I have always used custom postage in the past, to include packaging where relevant. There used to be a way out of simple delivery but the links have now been removerd, UNLESS you are selling something which ebay, ie the computer, recognises as a letter size not a parcel. Then you can choose your own cost of packaging and delivery. (to include it in FREE POSTAGE which is an option, makes the item look uncompetitive.) There is a route by cheating ( certainly not a deception on any potential buyer, nor does it defraud ebay)) but if I describe the method here, ebay may rise to it.
Having been with ebay for some 15 years, I never signed up to enforced simple delivery, indeed it wasnt around thern.

Mentor3 weeks agoSimple Delivery does not apply to certain categories, up to £20 in value and 100 gms in weight.
If selling anything which might be exempt it is worth checking categories.
I only now sell badges/ postcards, but as said it is essential to get the correct category.
For example a Football badge is exempt but Football memorabilia is not. This sort of distinction applies to many other small items.
