Faulty goods
Summary: d-c-j-23 reported an issue with a pair of Nike shorts purchased from a business seller, claiming that the logo washed off after minimal use and laundering. The seller attributed the issue to excessive heat and offered a 40% refund, but d-c-j-23 believes a full resolution, such as repair, replacement, or refund, should be provided due to the product's faultiness. d-c-j-23 is seeking advice on how to initiate a claim against the seller.
Hello
Bought pair of New Nike shorts from business seller, and only had them 3 months worn them 3 times washed 3 times and the Nike logo has washed off, contacted seller, there response was excessive heat caused it, but find that false as I have many other brands of shorts which I have had for some years and there logo are still there, they overed a 40% refund ,but i am sure thegy have to either fix replace or refund as there is obviously a fault with the item .
Advise would be great and how to start a claim
Cheers Daz

Mentor1 month agoeBay will have no interest as the time limit for its own money back guarantee is 30 days from delivery.
According to how and when you paid, your payment provider e.g. credit or debit card may be able to help.

Mentor1 month agoYou have 30 days to return an item that's not as described via eBay, same for PayPal.
If you paid with a debit/credit card or ApplePay you have 120 days to issue a not as described chargeback.
Unless this is a high value item I'd take the 40% refund that's being offered.
