Fake band shirt sellers Vs Real vintage
I can't believe the audacity of ebay sometimes. I listed two items, both old vintage tour shirts and they've both bounced back saying they've been hidden from sale due to counterfeit policy infringement. I can't even imagine why!? The pics show everything and there's no reason for it. I think it's crazy as there's a bunch of sellers who are selling counterfeit knock-offs and are being allowed to do it... They're even private sellers which is insane due to the amount of shirts listed and the fact they're obviously getting them from somewhere a lot cheaper and selling them on.... It has to stop.
I wouldn't normally care too much but what's going on where I, as a business seller gets screwed over with fees and now this b******t policy infringement... And the other knock-off merchants get to sell their s**t with no fuss whatsoever! The whole thing sucks.

Mentor11 months agoIt could be the keyword spamming in your title, for example your Led Zep t-shirt has lots of band names in the title that bear no relevance:
LED ZEPPELIN 1984 Band Tour Shirt Black Sabbath Rush Pink Floyd Plant Page XL
It's possible that a VeRO owner has reported your listings. For example, if you've used Iron Maiden in any title and it's not a Maiden shirt that'll get removed quickly. Some copyright owners have companies looking for these misdemeanours.

Mentor11 months agoThe only thing unfair is the way that message is written. eBay not always top of the class to explain an issue fully / correctly! The claim the item is 'not authentic' is not explaining the true issue here.
High brand items are protected by Vero Regulations and policies. It was the brand owner, not eBay who asked for the removal of your item.
There are so many fakes of high brand items and impossible to check authenticity for online items, even receipts can be faked, I know, my work took me to the Far East for decades , and fake receipts made there, are impossible to tell from the real deal.
You may well see identical items listed, the site is massive over 7 billion + listings on at any one time, so not possible to check every listing, and some slip the net and become listed.
Your item has been reported do not relist it, you would face serious selling restrictions.
You can read about Vero's policies from a link below:
