Failed car parts
Hello,
boughg a cambelt kit, the vehicle had the work done, the cambelts failed due to the quality . Now the sellers ignoring contact. It’s outside the 90 return policy, however it’s done catastrophic damage to the car.
anymidea on what can be done ?

·4 months agoEbay has a 30 day return policy and would only have covered you for the cost of the faulty item if you had opened a return within the 30 days. There would not have been compensation for the damage to your vehicle.
Personally, in such a situation, I would seek legal advice.
However, that is probably pointless unless you bought from a UK business seller.

If they are business sellers also contact Trading Standards.
