Evri marked item as delivered but actually returned item to sender
Evri (of course!) marked an item as delivered, which the buyer hadn't actually received and therefore raised a case with eBay (as it's Simple Delivery).
However, Evri had in fact returned the item to me as the sender, with no explanation as to why it hadn't fulfilled it's delivery obligation. Packaging was intact, and they must have had the tracking reference to be able to add a return label.
Given that the eBay workflow has it marked as delivered I can no longer print a postage label. To avoid incurring additional postage costs (and letting Evri get away with not actually delivering parcels) is the only option to wait for eBay to manage the case and hopefully trigger a new postage workflow? Or does anyone have other suggestions, or link to how to actually contact eBay?
Thanks

Mentor6 months agoYou could issue a refund via the case if it's still open, and then relist and start again with the buyer buying again. If you want you can opt out of using Evri here:

OP6 months agoThanks for the suggestion, which is essentially what happened, except eBay issued the refund to resolve the case. In the end I had to recreate the listing as it wouldn't allow me to switch it to accept offers. It kept refusing to list as it was already marked as auto relist, even from a draft. Bit if a pain but got there in the end
