EVRI lying about weight if item.
I wonder if anyone can help.
Evri almost on a weekly basis keep taking extra money from my account stating that I have paid for incorrect postage.
The first instance I sold a duvet cover that EVRI tried to say weighed nearly 2 kilos so took an extra £4.
This is after I paid £2.96 postage (so nearly £7)
The next instance I sold a Lego product.
This item weighed only 748 grams (as per the manufacturers website)
Evri then took over £7 from me stating the item weighed 3.5 kilos.
This is after I paid £3 postage ( so £10).
As people know trying to contact EVRI is impossible.
This is theft.
Any guidance as to what I can do.

Mentor10 months agoYou are a Private seller, so should be using Simple Delivery, are you doing this?
If so, using a SD label and it's accepted at the Post Office it's stated in the rules, eBay pick up any incorrect postage cost, if the correct weight and size have been entered.
Contact eBay Customer Services, provide them with all the details , weights entered etc. see what they say about the excess postage being paid. I do strongly suggest contacting CS very first thing in the morning when the lines first open for ' live agents' at 8 a.m. on weekdays, as there's more chance of Dublin answering, they should have more idea of UK postal charges, than perhaps those in the Philippine call centre.
This is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.

Lines open 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. on weekdays
9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on weekends.
Automated agents will be available on chat outside of the above hours.
As said, I recommend contacting CS first thing in the morning as there's more chance of Dublin answering.
