Evri delivery stolen from my doorstep, seller won’t refund or replace
My house fronts straight onto the street, so packages need to be left with a neighbour or re-delivered if I’m not in. I bought a diesel heater for £105 and Evri tracking said ‘delivered securely to an enclosed porch’, with a photo of the box on the doorstep right on the street. I even have ‘PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE ON DOORSTEP’ as the first line of the address on the label. It was stolen, and I returned to nothing on the doorstep. The seller won’t submit a claim to Evri, despite me writing it for them. I’m worried that if I try to complain via eBay, they will just see ‘delivered’ and refuse to refund me. Any advice would be really appreciated. Photo attached.

Correct, because the item was successfully delivered and the tracking record will no doubt confirm this.
eBay's money back guaranree doesn't cover items stolen after delivery.
It's a common problem - so much so that the police in some areas are advising buyers to consider using click and collect services instead.

proving that it’s just out there on the street, waiting to be stolen.
Surely delivered means crossing the threshold of the property, or a
neighbours property. That’s £105 spent that I can’t afford to pay again ☹️

Mentor9 months agoIt's worth contacting ebay direct about it. You can request a callback on here:

Or contact your payment provider and see what they say.
