Everdrive Listing removed
Summary: whulfcastle shared an issue about a flash cart listing being removed from eBay due to an 'Enabling infringement policy' violation, despite no games or SD card being included. Hi,
I had a listing for a ED64 on eBay - its essentially a flash cart for the N64. I made it clear it does not contain a SD card so no roms/games are included. The listing was reported by a user and removed for a Enabling infringement policy.
I appealed the decision to say no roms/games are included and also included links to similar flash carts for sale on eBay that are not being removed for infringing any policies. Ebay reviewed the appeal probably just CTRL-P this boiler plate response:
"We reviewed your appeal of an action on your account. Upon further review, we’re unable to grant your appeal because the listings aren’t following our Enabling infringement policy. After reviewing your appeal, we've found that the action taken on your item was correct. Our decision is based on details you shared, along with reports from brands, buyer feedback, and reasons for returns. Please don't relist this item. Thanks for your understanding and for being part of our community"
Here are similar devices being sold on eBay so not sure what exactly im doing wrong? Is it just a random user that is targeting my listing? If you search everdrive or flashcart there are hundreds of listings including sold items.
What gives?

OP3 weeks agoThe first time I listed it the title was "ED64 Plus for Nintendo 64 - Tested and working - No SD Card" basically copying from a previous sold item and just adding the "no SD card" bit.
That listing got flagged so I deleted it and started a new one, removing any reference to Nintendo 64 and listed it as "ED64 PLUS - Tested and Working - No SD card" In the description I said I'm selling it because I'm not using it anymore. This listing got removed within an hour. Similar listings include Roms and SD cards but for some reason that's ok and my listing is not.
So not going to try again but when the exact same items are listed and being sold I do wonder if someone (like a follower) is reporting it and eBay just removes it under pretence that someone actually reviewed the listing and made an objective decision.
