everakuma - selling dodgy priority pass membership
Summary: kmohan69 reported that a priority pass subscription purchased on eBay ended prematurely after only four months despite being a 12-month subscription. They expressed frustration as eBay refused to assist due to the purchase being outside the 30-day money-back guarantee. The seller is unresponsive, and the issue seems to involve breach of contract and possible fraudulent behavior. kmohan69 is seeking advice on escalating the matter with eBay’s Trust & Safety team and inquired if others have faced similar issues.
I bought a priority pass subscription service on ebay for 12 months in 12 jan 2026 and the subscription was stopped after 4 months in 11 May 2026. ebay say they cannot do anything as it is outside their 30 day money back guarantee period. as this is a subscription there should be honesty in the service lasting for the 12 months which i paid for. The seller is still selling the subscription service on ebay. he does not respond to my messages. ebay is happy to keep this seller and to continue to take commission. ebay claim they are not responsible for subscription services once it passes the 30 days money back guarantee period.
The seller refuses to respond. This is not a ‘money-back guarantee’ issue — it is a breach of contract and fraudulent misrepresentation. I request escalation to the Trust & Safety team for investigation and removal of the listing. has anyone had this problem with ebay and how was it resolved?

Mentor3 weeks agoYou're not allowed to sell subscriptions on eBay, and it makes no sense to buy something like this if you do come across it.
You have 30 days to return an item that's not as described via eBay, same for PayPal.
If you paid with a debit/credit card or ApplePay you have 120 days to issue a not as described chargeback, sadly you're now way past that timeframe too.
Unfortunately, for items bought that long ago, you're way out of time to pursue a refund any route.
