Ervi poor service
Summary: brianwilliamowen shared a frustrating experience with a shipping service, where their parcel was damaged and delayed, leading to a refund to the buyer. Despite raising complaints, they received no response from the shipping company. **peaseblossom** suggested using Simple Delivery for coverage on lost or damaged items, mentioning that opting out of the problematic service is possible in the postage preferences.
sold an item and posted with Evri. Item didn't arrive and eventually informed by Evri that it was damaged in transit and they were going to repackage. No details of damage given. Buyer was informed and preferred a refund. Refund made. Contacted Evri to explain and asked for details of damage as postage included insurance. No reply. Raised a complaint. No reply. Package was deliver to buyer two weeks later. No explanation, no reply to emails and call goes to endless queue. Cant realistically ask buyer to repackage and go to post office. What is ebay doing about this terrible company which they promote?

Mentor3 weeks agoeBay probably wont do anything in answer to your question, as a seller you have the choice to turn them off if you don't like them. Goto your account settings and postage preferences.

Mentor3 weeks agoIf you used Simple Delivery you are covered if items are lost or damaged in transit. That means ebay will pay the refund, not you, when the buyer opens a claim. If you've refunded upfront there's nothing you can do now but you can opt out of Evri in your postage preferences.
