enabling international selling on a listing
I'm enrolled for international shipping, but there's no option on my draft listing to enable it. I've agreed to sell an item to a buyer in USA and need to know how to set the correct shipping cost

Mentor2 weeks agoNot all items are covered by the Global Shipping Programme for shipping to the US.
If you'd like to let us have the listing number for the item in question we can check that for you.

If I change my country to US there is no way for me to purchase your item, it says
'Check item description or contact seller for postage options.'
so, you'd need to ad your own postage price and method to the US if you want to ship there. You need to factor in the 10% tariff plus £1.50 (payable by sender) if you're using Royal mail international.

OP2 weeks agoUS being difficult again! The prospective buyer is happy to pay the extra postage as well as any extra taxes at his end, so I just need to organise a shipping deal and let him know the cost. I just hope he thinks it's worth it. Thanks for the help.

Mentor2 weeks agoLooking at one of your listings I cannot see any mention of Global Shipping, and iit only shows as shipping to the UK.

Mentor2 weeks agoIf you're using ebay's system you don't need to set the international postage. You use UK postage to send the item to the UK hub and they forward it to the buyer.
