EBay’s simple shipping fiasco

Question

Sold an item and eBay arranged courier arrives on the simple delivery service, printed label sent parcel now buyer had opened a case for ‘not received’ eBay control the shipping and I cannot update the tracking as it’s generated by eBay, evri won’t allow manipulation of the tracking number. This is eBay who managed this what is a seller supposed to do when it’s eBay managing the shipping.

If it's an eBay Simple Delivery label and the tracking for the order isn't showing delivery then your buyer needs to open an eBay item not received claim and eBay will refund them, you keep the original payment.

If the item is lost in transit, in accordance with Simple Delivery T&Cs, ebay will issue the refund and you keep the payment.
